Sewing is Fun!

For Christmas Mama and Papa bought me a sewing machine. The sewing machine is old but it is new to me. Titi Sherlie also bought me A LOT of fabric and a sewing kit.

I have been reading the manual to learn how to use it, there are so many neat designs that I can make once I learn how to use the different presser feet. I would like to be in classes so I can learn more about sewing. My sister and I made 2 pillowcases and 1 doll blanket. Sometimes I wonder what other things I can make with my sewing machine?

 I love making all types of crafts.

Character Dress Up Day

Today at my school we had Character Dress up Day. I didn't want to dress up for school so I went as myself. My teacher noticed that a lot of people didn't dress up, so she made everyone draw a cover from the Diary of a Wimpy Kid books. Everyone had to be in the parade that was happening in the gym. We had to pretend that we were characters from the book so we wore our heavy book bags and walked in front of the whole school. I was so scared of everyone looking at me. Then I realized that my picture was upside down.

Everyone saw my awesome picture but upside down.  I was embarrassed for the most part but I still had fun Today in school.

There is a First Time for Everything

I made breakfast this morning, for the first time, with a little help from my mom. We made eggs, sausage, and toast. I tried and tried not to get any shells in the bowl when I was cracking the eggs. Once the eggs were done we took a picture of one plate. I wanted to make sure it was delicious so I made my sister take a bite of everything except the toast. Everyone at the table ate everything that was on their plate. Mom said she hasn't had eggs this good in a long time. 

Soon, we are going to be making lasagna for our friends and family.  Hopefully the food is just as good as breakfast.
